Are you ready for a new designer's challenge this week? Our hostess Kaz has our challenge this week at Stampotique Blogger's Challenge and here is what she says:
"When I took this week for my challenge back in the winter, I thought it would be lovely and summery so I decided to set a colour challenge using the sizzling colours of red, yellow and orange. I should have known better really as I do, after all, live in England. It's been positively Autumnal this month. Rain, wind and grey skies. Yuk. So I'd like you to help us entice the sunshine back to help warm my cold toes!!"
Okay, my card doesn't reflect the warm sunshine she's talking about, but I did follow the colors of it.
I had created some colored papers using the Ink, Spray and Smash technique. I know, WHAT???, she used a TECHNIQUE on her card??? I did! It actually wasn't that difficult and it was less messy as I did break out the gloves to create. I initially created it with it as a background piece in mind, but was having a hard time visualizing it. I decided that the Great Moon would be with this technique and to create a different background using the splatter stamps.

Card details:
Stamps: Great Moon 3044 and Ghouls Fun 8984, Halloween Cube 1 6099, Splatter Long 3014, Splatter Blob 3013 from Stampotique Originals
Cardstock: Glossy White, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Real Red
Embellishments: black twine, dimensionals
