Blogger's Challenge 145-Easter & Announcement

I finished this card just in the knick of time.  I've been so busy creating in the last week, trying to get a few things done before this holiday weekend and before I have to go out of town for a few days for work that I almost forgot my Blogger's Challenge card.  Our challenge this week is an Easter theme.

My card is an untraditional Easter card.  I wanted to combine a few challenges into this one, so I went with something fun versus an Easter Bunny or Lily or something alone those lines.

This card uses the Critter Sketch Challenge #7 which was a great layout to work with, one I'll definitely use again.

I'm thrilled to be playing with Melanie and the girls this week and am looking forward to the next few weeks as Melanie asked a few months ago if I would be their Guest Designer for the month of April!!!!!!   Yes, ma'am, I would *love* to be a part of the wonderful design team!!!!  My first official challenge will be on Mon. with the rest of the girls.

Last week I didn't get to play in the Play Date Cafe Challenge, but this week I HAD to, I mean, blues????  My FAVORITE colors (and I'm even wearing blue). And bummer, I had intended to complete the Copics Creation Challenge (a first for me) but I didn't color my flowers with Copics (I did colors some of the petals with a B21) but I'll have to try that one again some other day.

This was really an easy card for me, it came together quickly and I really like how it turned out.  I love to use buttons and although I normally don't use that many on my card, it still looks cute.

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter, hope you enjoy some chocolate and get to spend some time with family & friends.  I have another fabulous announcement tomorrow, so hope you will swing by and check it out.

Check out the Blogger's Challenge girls for their Easter creations this week here.
