Blogger's Challenge-Think Spring

This weeks Blogger's Challenge is to "Think Spring".  Well, I'm ready for Spring here, that's for sure!  I wish it would warm up just a little where I could go outside without my jacket on.

My card is very simple this week.  Sometimes when working with larger images I struggle with how to use it.  Do I make a card, a book, frame?  I really wanted to incorporate last weeks Play Date Cafe Challenge (celery, white, lavender) with this image from Stamp N Plus Scrap N-Lillies of the Valley F1593

This card measures 5.5 x 5.5" and I kept it fairly simple using my Scor-pal for a few score lines to the left of the knot/ribbon.  I water colored the image with my Aquapainter and reinkers.

Make sure you check out all the other Spring creations here.

For those that have an iPhone, don't forget about the new app from Clear & Simple Stamps, well worth the money and lots of beautiful cards not seen anywhere else.

Have you seen Vicki's BLOG CANDY??? If not, hop on over there to check out, a TON of goodies!

Card details:
Stamps:  Lillies of the Valley F1593 from Stamp N Plus Scrap N
Cardstock: Lavender Lace, Certainly Celery, White CS
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Lavender Lace & Certainly Celery Reinkers
Accessories:  Lavender Ribbon, Scor-pal

This is lovely. The colors are wonderful and I love Lily of the Valley. An old neighbor of my parents use to grow these, her name was "Mrs. Farmer" and she was the sweetest little old lady. She never ever complained when we played in her yard as kids. Whenever I see lilies of the valley I always think of her. Thanks for the memories.
