Blogger Challenge, Week #29

This week are challenge was to use the layout on p. 37 of the SU! Spring/Summer Collection Catalog (the save the date card). The card here was my 2nd attempt. My first one my dimensions were all off and I got frusterated so I quit and tossed it.

I'm pleased with this one and am going to use some more of the patterned paper to do a few more cards.
Details:

Stamp Sets: Little Pieces, Hero Arts "Many Friends", Canvas Background
Cardstock: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pixie Pink, CTMH Groovy Blossoms
Ink: Certainly Celery, Pixie Pink, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Shite Grosgrain Ribbon, SU! Markers

Hi Kim,

Very pretty! You did a wonderful job with this challenge. Maybe I'd better get started on mine and not leave it until the last moment--this looks a little more challenging! No pun intended!

Also, could you add me to your bloggers challenge roll? I'll double check to make sure you're on mine as well.

Awesome card Kim! I love the springy colors and different textures of paper that you used. The hero arts sentiment is super cool too. This card looks like it came right off the pages of PaperCrafts magazine. :)

Kim,
what a great idea to turn the layout sideways. I wouldn't have thought of that - I love it!
