Alice in Wonderland

Today over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations our challenge is to use Pink, Blue & Yellow and your Basic Grey papers.  I kind of cheated on this and used more of a Blue/Green color and just a "hair" of yellow.

I was browsing my buddy Allison's blog and came across the Little Paper Shop sketch today.  I had a Little Paper Shop digital image, Alice and used her -she's a lot of fun to color.  I combined this sketch with yet another challenge over at Oh, Alice to use swirls-and Little Paper Shop is sponsoring their challenge over there as well.

The sentiment is from the Artistic Outpost set Wonderland Collage and if you click to enlarge the photo you will see I also stamped the turquoise papers with Wallflower background from Clear & Simple Stamps.  Where did I go terribly wrong with this card????  After I was all done with it I got the bright idea to spray some Carribean Blue Glimmer Mist on it and did NOT like the outcome but didn't have time to do another one.

Some embellishments I had to use on here-of course the rolled flower tutorial from Joanne B., I used up some swirly designer rhinestones from Basic Grey.

Hope you will join us over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations-we'd love to see your creations using Yellow, Blue, Pink AND your Basic Grey papers.

Card details:
Stamps: Alice from Little Paper Shop, sentiment from Wonderland Collage from Artistic Outpost
Cardstock: Hibiscus Burst, Tempting Turqoise, Basic Black, Stamper's Select, Basic Grey Euphoria
Inks: Copics, Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Basic Grey Designer Rhinestones, Carribean Blue Glimmer Mist, Scalloped punch

Oh Kim I love this Alice card! That image is super cute and I love that flower that you made on the side(I am no good at making them). I hear you about wishing you didn't spray something on an almost finished card. I have done it more than once myself!
