BC259: Die Cuts

I have been on a little blog break, thanks for sticking around to visit me this week.  I got to have a little fun weekend with my daughter at her last cheer leading competition in Myrtle Beach, SC.  We enjoyed the beach briefly and this picture was at the hotel we were staying on the beach.  It was gorgeous but would definitely love to be back there when the weather is nicer.

Today's Blogger's Challenge is to use a die on your creation and I have two to share with you today.  My first sample is a scrapbook page that I created of my little cheer leader with the new set from The {Stamps} of Life- Frilly4ABC's  I love how this page turned out and it looks great in my Project Life album (which I am behind on!)  The die I used is the Butterfly Die set.

Scrapbook page details:
Cardstock: Real Red, Going Gray, SEI Black Orchid, Neenah White
Inks: ColorBox by Stephanie Barnard-Licorice & Strawberry
Embellishments: text on MS Word, Butterfly Die Set, Janome sewing, Dare to be a Diva Red buttons, black twine, Mark Richards metal sticker gems, Parisian border punch from EK Success

For my second is a card that I created a trio of cards using the dragonfly die and although I'm not sure how it looks on my background below but I sprayed some Silver Foil Smooch Spritz from Clearsnap.  My sentiment was created using the Frilly4ABC's set.

Card details:
Cardstock: Maroon Maven, Basic Black, Neenah White
Inks: ColorBox by Stephanie Barnard-Licorice
Embellishments:  Dragonfly Die Set, Janome sewing

Want to join us at Blogger's Challenge this week?  Just link up DIRECTLY to your new creation over at Lisa's blog to play.  I know you are just "die-ing" to join us :-)

Such a cute page of Syd! Love the view from your hotel - might have to add that as a place to check out for a potential girls weekend if we move the date to warmer weather!
